Privacy policy

This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have in that regard.

Controller

The controller for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

PG Tratziger Straße S.à r.l.19, rue de Flaxweiler6776 GrevenmacherLuxembourgrent@comood.de

Principles and legal bases

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. We process such data only where it is necessary to operate this website and to provide the features you wish to use.

You can use this website without providing personal data. We use no analytics, tracking or marketing services, we do not measure your behaviour and we do not build user profiles.

Which legal basis applies depends on the individual processing operation: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), the initiation or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We state the applicable basis with each processing operation described below.

Transmission between your browser and our server is encrypted (TLS). You can recognise an encrypted connection by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.

Hosting and logging

This website is hosted by a service provider who makes it available on their servers. They process the data arising in doing so solely on our instructions and on our behalf, on the basis of a data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR.

Visits to this website are not logged. Our web server keeps no access logs recording individual page requests together with an IP address, browser or referring page. No record is therefore created from which your visit could be reconstructed afterwards.

What does arise are operational messages from the services involved — start-up events, certificate renewals and error messages. They serve technical operation alone, are not evaluated, and are overwritten after a short time.

Separately from this, the hosting provider processes connection data at network level in order to operate its infrastructure and protect it against attacks. We have no influence over this; the processing is covered by the data processing agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and local storage

This website stores some information locally in your browser — for instance your consent decision, your chosen language, light or dark mode, and your accessibility settings. This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us.

Every entry currently in use is technically necessary so that the settings you choose survive moving between pages. We set no analytics or marketing cookies. The legal basis for necessary storage is Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with our legitimate interest in a functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The cookie policy lists each entry in full, what it is for and how long it lasts. You can also change your decision there at any time.

Map display

The location section shows an interactive map. We serve the software required for it (MapLibre GL JS) from our own server. The map imagery itself — the map style and the individual tiles — comes from CARTO (CARTO Inc., New York, USA) at basemaps.cartocdn.com. The underlying geodata comes from OpenStreetMap.

As soon as the map area comes into view, your browser establishes a connection to CARTO's servers. Your IP address and technical details of your browser are transmitted to CARTO in the process, and processing in the United States cannot be ruled out. We have no influence over CARTO's further processing.

The map is deliberately loaded only once you reach the map area. If you do not scroll there, no connection is made. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting the project's location and surroundings in an understandable way (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Project film

The project film is held on our own server. No third-party services such as YouTube or Vimeo are embedded, so no data is transmitted to such providers. The film is loaded only once you expressly start it; until then you see a still image.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are served from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service, and your IP address is not transmitted to anyone for this purpose.

Pre-registration and enquiries

The pre-registration form lets you express interest in an apartment. We process only the details you enter yourself: first and last name, email address, your telephone number if you wish, the apartment size you are looking for, and your message. Mandatory fields are marked as such in the form; everything else is optional.

We use these details solely to answer your enquiry and to inform you when renting begins. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry serves to initiate a tenancy, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We delete your details once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods stand in the way. You may withdraw your pre-registration at any time without formality — a message to the contact address above is enough.

Renting through Comood

Our partner Comood handles the rental of the apartments. This website carries a link, a contact address and a QR code for that purpose. The logo and the QR code are held on our own server — merely viewing this section transmits no data to Comood.

If you follow the link or write to the address given, you leave our website. Comood is then the controller for the processing of your data, and their privacy policy applies.

Recipients of your data

Beyond the parties named in this policy, we do not pass your data on to third parties. Disclosure takes place only where you have consented, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Service providers who support us in operating this website act on our instructions and are contractually bound under Article 28 GDPR.

Your rights

You have the following rights in respect of the personal data concerning you:

  • Right of access (Article 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object (Article 21 GDPR)
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR)

You may withdraw consent once given at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal is unaffected.

Where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest, you may object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21 GDPR).

To exercise your rights, a message to the contact address above is sufficient. Independently of this, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority at any time — for example the authority where you habitually reside, or the authority responsible for us, the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) in Luxembourg.

No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place.

Changes to this privacy policy

We update this policy when the processing on this website changes or when new legal requirements call for it. The version published here is the one that applies; its date is shown above.
